About the Artwork

It is immense heartfelt gratitude that I introduce Artslandia cover artist, Renee Mavigliano. Her painting “Seeds” was the perfect complement to an idea of growing a comprehensive arts annual for this fantastic city. Renee’s eclectic and bold style attracts attention all over the country. She is truly a brilliant artist. I appreciate her enthusiasm and optimism in life, and on this project.

In addition, thank you to George Mavigliano for coming to my aid in moments of artistic desperation with his amazing watercolors of venues around this great city. It is with deepest regret that his name was omitted from the magazine. Please accept my humble apologies.
